I guess the chorizo is homemade then? They only use meat from pigs that are humanely raised.

Wow — what a great recipe. And how perfect for our Superbowl tomorrow. I already have butterflies in my stomach. And I really like that font you used on the photo. Kirsten, Deine Cheeze-its schauen besser aus wie das Original und es gefaellt mir besonders gut, dass alles organisch ist. Den Kaese habe ich neulich auch beim Costco mitgenommen.
Der war echt klasse! If you love to join in, please take a look to my blog. Hope to hear from you soon xox Manu. Great post! Might have to give it a go! On to other business — I need your help! I live in South Florida. We are planning our Super Bowl festivities and rather than the standard hoagies, chips, dip, pizza etc, our family tradition is to make foods from the areas of the country that the two competing teams are from. Could be anything from an app, to a main or side, even a cocktail or dessert.
What always comes to my mind right away is Colorado lamb, grass fed beef, local, organic and sustainable ingredients. In the summer we have wonderful produce from the western slopes like our Colorado peaches. You definitely need to serve some Colorado beer New Belgium, Great Divide, Avery,… What would be nice to nibble on would be some bison burger sliders or thin cut grilled flank steak with veggies on baguette with a tasty bacon guacamole, a good cold Colorado beer, some oven baked sweet potato fries and for dessert something with peaches, maybe some grilled peaches with honey, a simple peach pie or a peach pudding.
Maybe you will also find some inspiration there. I am wishing you fun with your guests on SuperBowl Sunday. Greetings from Colorado.

Go Broncos! This is a great article featuring one of my favorite here in Denver, Chef Jen from Rioja. She also recommends to include lamb. What a great trip you have planned…. I love this area of Germany and have been fortunate to travel there twice before. A cooking tour would be fantastic!
Everybody is certain to fall in love with the area. What a healthy way to start the morning; are you getting into shape for the trip in October! Came across your site through Pinterest. I teach German cooking classes in my home! Presumably humans did raise this beef, but humanely. Who knew that cheeze-its could be so so easy to make? Sometimes I worry I have the taste palate of a toddler…cheese-its are one of my guilty pleasures!
These look absolutely delicious though. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I made it and everyone loved it. I even had other people ask me for the recipe. Bri, I am so glad to hear everybody enjoyed the soup. Thanks for pointing out the mistake in the recipe. I just fixed it. That sounds like a good idea, Mary. You can never go wrong with a good apple pie. Let the better team succeed. Oh my! These look amazing and my favorite snack. You are too sweet, Susan. I am not a big football fan either, but somehow the football fever is in the air these days here in Denver and it is very contagious!
Hi Kirsten, what a surprise to hear from you. Such a huge change on your blog.
Love the professional arrangement; most likely Word Press! Love your delicious carrot-lentil combo soup. The color, and texture is pure awesomeness! I left a reply for you on my blog; sorry, I misspelled your name! Hi Elisabeth, no, I am still around. Yes, I moved to Wordpress beginning of It took some time to get used to, but I prefer it over Blogger and would highly recommend it to anybody.
